Mark Minnick is the senior pastor of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina, where he has served since 1989. He holds an M.A. in Bible from Bob Jones University and a Ph.D. in New Testament Interpretation, with a dissertation on the genealogy and birth account of Jesus Christ in Matthew’s Gospel.

Before becoming Mount Calvary’s first full-time pastor, he taught Bible and Homiletics at Bob Jones University on both the undergraduate and graduate levels while serving alongside Pastor Jesse Boyd, whose decades of pastoral ministry deeply shaped him. In addition to shepherding his congregation, Mark regularly serves missionaries overseas, sits on the boards of Gospel Fellowship Association Missions and the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship, and is a member of The Committee on the Bible’s Text and Translation.
